We are on the lookout for an experienced and entrepreneurial Treasury Manager, to join our exceptional team at Infinigate in Munich, Germany. Infinigate is going through a big growth transition and the treasury function needs to catch up with the growth that Infinigate is aiming towards in the near future.

Your Tasks

You are strong in decision-making, execution, presentation and have the right experience for the job. You are not worried to dive into areas that require improvements, and you want to use your experience to add something meaningful to the development of the treasury function. Next to the operations tasks that fall within treasury, such as group wide liquidity planning and fx-management, you spend your time on improving and automating the liquidity planning, fx-management, zero-balancing and factoring within Infinigate. Main purpose:
Reporting to the VP of Treasury and working alongside the Group Treasurer and Treasury Accountant this role requires overseeing the development and roll out of new treasury activities across the Infinigate Group. Treasury is a new function for the wider Group. The priorities of this role is in integrating the businesses, creating Group wide Treasury support and processes, understanding and analysing the businesses from the operational level up to implementing Treasury solutions to manage currency risks and exposures in their operations and ensuring the Group has efficient operational cash management.
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • FX Management
  • Understanding how to manage risks from order to cash due to FX fluctuations and how this impacts the way the business sets the system rates and prices its products is fundamental to the role.
  • Analysing & Understanding where and when FX impacts on the financial statements and where there are timing differences to monitor and explain
  • Understand daily currency flows of both supplier and customer base with a view to develop appropriate foreign exchange and risk management framework and strategies
  • Daily FX management and hedging execution across the group
  • Working Capital Management
  • Infinigate Group biggest assets are its trade debtors in the countries and therefore understanding the quality of these debtors and when monies will be received is key.
  • Customer payment term management
  • Receivables factoring management and new arrangements
  • Relationships with our key vendors/supplier payment terms
  • Understanding inventory finance schemes
  • Levels of inventory and how these will unwind
  • Understanding all these components of working capital is key to managing the appropriate level of working capital in each business unit
  • Cash Flow
  • Manage and maximise the business short term and long-term cash flow by developing a robust forecast model and process.
  • Understanding timing of flows from countries and suppliers
  • Understanding how working capital can be managed to improve the cash flow
  • Develop and maintain cash flow forecast report
  • Working with FP&A to integrate P&L and Balance Sheet Forecasts with cashflow forecasts
  • TMS Admin & Improving Utilization across Group
  • Connect and integrate new banks to the TMS system Kyriba
  • Other Treasury Priorities
  • Continue integration of Group banking systems – some cash pooling exists but not all linked, further development of cash pooling across Europe working in close relation with the bank, technical IT support and group accountants is desired
  • Integrate newly acquired companies in the Treasury Process (Cash visibility, liquidity management, FX hedging and factoring)
  • Monitoring group debt facilities and covenants
  • Monitor local cash management activities
  • Develop reporting and make recommendations to Infinigate Group board
  • Coordinate with relevant finance staff within the Infinigate Group

Your Qualifications

  • You are interested in understanding the Infinigate core business and how this impacts the treasury function (working capital needs, impact of growth on liquidity).
  • You are pragmatic, entrepreneurial and appreciate freedom in a productive way. Turbulent situations combined with multi-layered tasks motivate you even more.
  • You are comfortable working in an environment where not everything is set in stone, but you set the benchmark.
  • You act and communicate in a business-like manner and have the ability, and also the pleasure, to support the company to improve its treasury function.
  • You have a university degree (Uni/FH), proceed methodically and in a structured manner and work precisely.
  • You have several years of professional experience in the areas of treasury and/or treasury consulting.
  • You have the ability to be up and running swiftly and pinpoint key areas of improvement quickly.
  • Your tools (MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point) are at hand. Due to your IT affinity, you are able to quickly expand your toolbox (TMS).
